Sohrab and his Mother Parvin Fahimi - سهراب و مادرش پروین فهیمی
Sohrab Aarabi disappeared on June 15th 2009 while protesting the election results in Iran. Each day his mother would go to the courts or to notorious Evin Prison looking for him and she would always bring his photo. Here you can see her on one of those visits trying to find out what has happened to her son. On July 11th Sorab’s family was summoned to court, sohrab had been missing for 26 days, they were asked to look at the photos of corpses to identify which one was their son. Sohrab was dead. Apparently he had been shot and killed at the protest…He was only 19 years old.
